Go Live

One button. You're on the air.

SportsCaster Pro is broadcasting for people who aren't engineers, and don't want to be. Press one button and it does the rest: it starts the recording, calls the studio over AirCodec, and pushes the show out to every stream you have set up.

The banner before going live: NOT BROADCASTING, CLICK HERE to go on air
Before: the banner says Not broadcasting. Click it, or press Start All.
The banner after the press: ON AIR, 1 destination
A second later: On air, and how many destinations are live.

What that one press does

1

Starts the recording

Records the whole broadcast on your own computer, to a file named with the date and time, so the game is saved even if the internet is not.

Local recording running: REC, a file named broadcast with the date and time, and the running time

2

Calls the studio

Dials the studio over AirCodec, so your program is on its way and the studio's return is in your headphones. Untick it if you would rather dial by hand.

The AirCodec setting: Dial automatically when I press Start All, ticked

3

Goes live everywhere

Pushes the show out to every stream you have set up, from Icecast and Shoutcast to YouTube and Facebook. Each one shows connected the moment it is live.

A stream showing connected, with its running time and data sent

On-air alarm

No more calling a game to no one.

If you lose the studio or a stream while you are on the air, SportsCaster Pro beeps in your headphones and flashes a big red warning on the screen. You hear it even with your eyes on the field, so you are never calling the game to yourself. A dropped stream keeps retrying on its own.

The red warning banner: OFF AIR, the stream has dropped

The warning flashes red across the top of the screen.

And it beeps in your headphones.

The stream showing an error and retry in 15 seconds, with the reason: the server dropped the source mid-stream
SportsCaster Pro a second after the one press: the banner reads ON AIR, 1 destination, the stream shows connected, and local recording is running to a file named with the date and timeEnlarge
The real screen one second after the press: on air, the stream connected, the recording running.
